Tears of uttermost jubilance are rolling down my eyes as I reminisce and write about Bongo Konna, my inspiration, my role model, and someone who is extremely close to my heart. She is a bona fide epitome of humanity, kindness, and creativity. Her beauty, grace, charisma, compassion, indomitable will towards growth, are peerless and absolutely laudable. She is none other than the venerable Prime Minister of Bangladesh- Sheikh Hasina!
Birth
Honourable Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina was born on 28th September, 1947 in Tungipara of Gopalgonj.
Family
Sheikh Hasina is the daughter of the great Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman and Sheikh Fazilatunnesa Mujib. She married M.A. Wazed Miah in 1968. She has one son, Sajeeb Wazed Joy and a beautiful daughter, Saima Wazed. Her only living sibling is Sheikh Rihana, a politician of Bangladesh Awami League.
Education
Respected Prime Minister, Sheikh Hasina, has always been a first-rate student. She is the epitome of brilliance. She studied at Eden Mohila College. Not only that, but she was also an eminent student of Dhaka University.
Lifestyle
Jononetri Sheikh Hasina married M.A. Wazed in 1968. During the violence in 1970, Sheikh Hasina lived in refuge with her grandmother. She was an active student in politics at Dhaka University.
An ordeal broke into her life on 15th August, 1975 when the Bangladesh Army members assassinated her dear family. Sheikh Hasina was residing with her husband in Germany back then. She then moved to Delhi in late 1975. Her son, Sajeeb Wazed Joy, studied at an Indian boarding school. During that time, our honourable Prime Minister was not involved in politics. However, she was not allowed to return to Bangladesh until after she was elected as the Awami League party leader in Bangladesh on 16th February, 1981.
Sheikh Hasina initiated her first premiership from 1996 to 2001. The government under Sheikh Hasina opened the telecom industry. In 1999, the government started New Industrial Policy (NIP) to strengthen the private sector and enhance growth in the nation.
Sheikh Hasina captured power and became the Prime Minister of Bangladesh again in 2009. After 4 months, her husband departed this life. In January 2010, five military officers who were guilty of assassinating Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman, were hanged.
Sheikh Hasina again became the Prime Minister of Bangladesh in 2014 and is still the glorious leader, Prime Minister, and an absolute inspiration for all of us.
No wonder, she is the mother of humanity. In 2017, and Sheikh Hasina provided refuge to more than almost 7,00,000 Rohingya who arrived in Bangladesh in order to escape for the genocide in Myanmar. The government provided endless and unstinting support and also received applause both nationally and internationally.
With uttermost pride, Sheikh Hasina is the longest-serving Prime Minister in the history of Bangladesh.

Indeed, honourable Prime Minister is the mother of humanity. She is that medium that showed Bangladesh the path towards the pinnacle of success. She has left no stone unturned for the acceleration in the growth of Bangladesh. It is a matter of uttermost honour and pride as we come to know that ADB ranked Bangladesh as the fastest growing economy in the Asia Pacific region. The fighting spirit of Sheikh Hasina aided her in conquering insurmountable issues by ensuring political stability, infrastructural development, the fulfillment of electricity demand, and food self-sufficiency. When Sheikh Hasina returned to power in 2009, she decided to mitigate the issue of electricity. She allowed private companies to build small-range power plants named ‘quick-rental power plants.’ Although she received a plethora of criticisms, the valorous legend was steadfast with her decision. As a result, her decision proved to be the rightest decision of all time. Thanks to the Honourable Prime Minister.
Moreover, in 1996, she intervened in the monopoly in the telecommunication industry. Competition proliferated and now we enjoy one of the cheapest mobile data and lowest mobile phone usage cost. She has also bestowed her magic spell in Bangladesh’s public sector and accelerated the growth of the public sector in Bangladesh. Her contributions towards the growth of Bangladesh are mind-blowing.
Not only that, dearest Prime Minister has ensured the facility of corona vaccine to the people of Bangladesh. She has ensured a complete and absolute swift regime in providing vaccines to people that has brought about great satisfaction in people. All kudos goes to our Honourable Prime Minister.

Apart from being an incredible politician and Prime Minister, Sheikh Hasina is the possessor of numerous virtues. She is a phenomenal writer, artist and adroit photographer. Her prowess in writing is highly laudable. Some of the mentionable books that she composed include: ‘Sheikh Mujib amar pita’, ‘Who is the father of my son’, ‘Ora tokai keno’, ‘Amar shopno, amar shongram’, ‘Development of the masses’, ‘Living in tears’ and many more splendiferous creations!
