Who inspired you to become a self developer?
Mohaiminul Islam Rahul: My father is my Idol who always supports me. when I was young and heard about his story he was always trying to independent and try to do something different on the business side. Finally, he started a zone business. Sometimes he went from Khulna to Chittagong for the business. Suddenly he fell off his business but he never gives up. So that’s a sort of thing that my father has a lot of influence and inspiration in my life. He inspired me to become a self developer.
What makes Let’s Furnish different from others?
Efaz Ahmed: “Let’s Furnish” is one of the kinds of a platform like In Bangladesh. There is no option for rent furniture. Why will we rent furniture? Because It’s not the same as other furniture. I mean every human being needs different types. So there are many services in different places in the world to meet the needs of such people. At that moment, if you think and let’s see there is no option in Bangladesh. We should have to buy the furniture either we have to buy the furniture expensive or we will buy local furniture. First of all, those did not give the 21 st -century feeling and did not give the developing feeling. From now, we did not change our lifestyle in the future we will be facing a lot of problems. So from here to the inception of “Let’s Furnish” and our vision is to make Dhaka a Sustainable city and to make a furniture’s culture. Remember that, Other Furniture companies sell their products but We sell our culture so that’s why “Let’s Furnish” is different from others.
What are the challenges that you are facing to establish Let’s Furnish?
Tauhid Ul Alam: Our first challenge is to educate the market. But we think it very optimistically. This will be able to do it just like ride-sharing what happened before the people had no interest in ride-sharing but now that is increasing step by step. The people are very comfortable like using Pathao, OBHAI, Uber, etc. Yes, just like that time, we believe this challenge we will overcome. Sometimes we are facing payment issues ( It’s monthly subscription-based). Overall, we are optimistic about the future.
Did you have any experience with Startup?
Efaz Ahmed: ”Yes” we have got during ideation of stage from various individuals who have been you know working with a startup for a long time and “Let’s Furnish” is in the fourth month came across GP Accelerator. It is one of the most graduation GP Free-Accelerator. The fast ever program and also one of the top three teams in GP Accelerator. Yes, that has been a startup exposer over that. Let’s Furnish internal management team has two of the most industry experts who are working with furniture Culture setting Startup themselves. So we are continuously working with them. They are partners and that has been exposing of a part.
What is that one thing you learned that keeps you determined?
Mohaiminul Islam Rahul: Actually, the one thing I learned in my life is to follow or that’s my ethic. Usually, most of the people didn’t want to take a risk. I’m a risk-taker because I believe in myself. Risk refers to any situation that could result in damage, injury, loss, harm, or accountability. Risk-taking is conterminous with doing business and can either lead to bonanza or abortive. In the last, I want to say that “No risk no gain”
What are your future plans?
Efaz Ahmed: In the future, We have a lot of plans. The future is indefinite. The first goal is let’s see “Let’s Furnish” grow more. Let’s Furnish reach house of full until whenever people talk about Furniture then should be mentioned let’s furnish that was the ultimate goal and plans are that We need to do anything and everything to reach that goal.
Do you have any message or advice for the youth?
Efaz Ahmed: We want to say a piece of advice because of the youth ourselves. But Constantly doing mistakes and constantly learning. In Bangladesh, after completing graduation a lot of students won’t get a job because the job resources are limited. Dhaka is one of the most problematic zones in the world, here are a lot of problems. So every individual comes up with a sustainable model to make Dhaka better. Every youth will do something special on the business side then I hope, One day Dhaka will be The Mega-City of Asia.
