Syeda Nawshin Huq Sapphire, Founder of BanglaStart, aspires to be a facilitator for these aspiring startups through the provision of real-time insight, experiences, narratives and mutual communication to overcome challenges through a community of professionals, students, start-up owners and employees.

With entrepreneurship and innovation being a common ideology of present-day professionals, students and aspiring problem-solvers, there exists the need of a community to foster and propel such individuals with resources, networking and realistic inspiration. If you search “BanglaStart” on Facebook, you will see that this Facebook group does exactly as such.

The community was founded by Ms.Syeda Nawshin Huq Sapphire. While most aspire to be startup owners themselves, Ms. Sapphire aspires to be a facilitator for these aspiring startups through the provision of real-time insight, experiences, narratives and mutual communication to overcome challenges through a community of professionals, students, start-up owners and employees.

Back in her university days, Ms.Sapphire aspired to initiate a start-up but failed since she could not connect with the right resources and have guidance or support. During covid, she started studying about start-ups and realised how our ecosystem had several start-ups with high growth potential. As such, this realisation led her to the feeling of making a change in the narrative for general audiences so that anyone aspiring to become start-up owners or even seeking insights to grow can find their missing link required to grow. Thus, BanglaStart came into fruition – a platform which exists as a “Quora for Startups” with context and relevance.

To begin, BanglaStart provides a platform for start-ups to collaborate and exchange ideas, fostering a culture of innovation and aiming for entrepreneurs can connect with like-minded people.

Second, BanglaStart provides mentorship opportunities and showcases success stories to encourage entrepreneurs to pursue their dreams. Banglastart gives start-ups the knowledge-based tools they need to overcome obstacles and achieve their objectives by instilling a sense of determination and ambition.

Additionally, BanglaStart provides essential resources to assist new businesses including market research, legal and regulatory guidance, and access to funding options. The community works together with investors, service providers, and government agencies. Banglastart ensures that start-ups have the tools they need to navigate the complexities of the business landscape by facilitating these essential resources.

Why should someone join BanglaStart?

1: Collaboration and Networking: With BanglaStart, you can meet a wide range of like-minded people, such as other business owners, experts in their fields, and potential partners.

2: Support and community: Joining BanglaStart implies turning into a piece of a steady and sustaining local area that figures out the difficulties and wins of business venture.

The goal of this platform is to ensure that knowledge and resources become easily accessible for all founders and aspiring entrepreneurs. The platform holds regular meetups and Ms.Sapphire aims to arrange a series of sessions on product development, go-to-market strategy and several other quintessential topics.

Ms.Sapphire imagines Bangladesh to become one of the most exciting start-up hubs on a global scale while making her own dream of having her own start-up becoming a reality with the right investors and resources to grow.
