One Bank And Guardian Life Sign A Strategic Partnership Agreement
Guardian Life Insurance Limited and One Bank Limited have scaled up their reach to a larger audience by making a strategic partnership agreement.
During a recent press release, it was revealed that under this partnership, the users of OK Wallet, a Mobile Financial Services App by ONE Bank Limited, will be able to purchase GLIL’s Monthly Savings Plans. Since the OK Wallet app uses e-KYC guidance, users of the app will be able to buy and claim insurance policies without signing any papers.
Gazi Yar Mohammed, Head of MFS and Agent Banking of ONE Bank Limited, and Shamim Ahmed, Chief Operating Officer of Guardian Life Insurance Limited, came together to sign the partnership on behalf of their respective companies.
The ones present at the signing ceremony as well were Head of Digital Channel and ADC, Yeasin Arafat; Key Lead, Digital Channel and ADC from GLIL, Shariar Akanda; Head of Mobile Financial Services, AZM Fouz Ullah Chowdhury; Senior Manager, MFS, and Agent Banking Division from ONE Bank Limited, Md. Zakir Alam.
What This Partnership Agreement Brings To The Table For Both Companies:
Since the launch of OK Wallet in 2018, the app has been able to cater to a wide range of services and offer its users a secure and faster convenient method of mobile banking, and the app’s ratings have been proof of that.
By adding GLIL’s Insurance Policy to the application, the guardian online plan advisor will now recommend insurance plans to the users that are right for them based on their answers to some simple questions.
Under this agreement, GLIL’s Insurance policies will be more reachable to a whole new audience. These will add value to the current users of OK Wallet and draw the attention of other customers of ONE Bank to start using the app. Safe to say, this partnership will be beneficial to both parties and hopefully help generate more revenue.
